They carefully lifted her onto the bed. She lay there barely breathing. Tubes coming out of her every which way. She was hooked up to machines that were beeping. Audrey looked at her and began to cry softly and pray that she would get better.
Meanwhile at the Nurses station Lucky Spencer was speaking to his Aunt, Bobbie Spencer, who was a Surgical Nurse at the hospital.
"Have you seen Elizabeth?" "I've been looking all over for her." "Maybe she's come here to see Audrey." asked Lucky.
"No. I'm sorry I haven't." replied Bobbie.
Just then, Tony appeared.
"I couldn't help, but overhear, are you looking for Elizabeth?" asked Tony.
"Yes I am." replied Lucky. "Come with me, there's something I have to tell you." said Tony.
"Do you know where Elizabeth is?" asked Lucky.
"Yes I do." "She's here in the hospital. She's very sick." explained Tony.
"What? Can I see her?" asked Lucky
"Sure" replied Tony.
So he took Lucky to see Elizabeth.
"Elizabeth." Lucky said. He went over to her. Audrey was sitting in a chair beside Elizabeth's bed. "How's she doing?" asked Lucky.
"She's stable." replied Audrey
"We don't know what is wrong, but we are working hard to find out." explained Tony.
"How did this happen?" asked Lucky.
"I'm not sure." "Elizabeth came to tell me that you two are getting married, we were hugging, then she began to clutch her stomach, then she suddenly collapsed onto the floor." explained Audrey.
"Everything is going to be OK." "We are doing the best we can". said Tony.
