Lucky and Elizabeth had a love that could not be broken. They were very happy with each other and they were thrilled to be marrying each other. They knew that they were meant for each other. They were soul mates. They had pledged their love for each other in a secluded chapel in front of God and themselves.
Lucky had been presumed dead, in April of 1999. Elizabeth felt that she couldn't live without Lucky by her side. Then one day, Lucky returned to Port Charles. It turned out that he had been kidnapped and brainwashed. And although he didn't love her, she wouldn't give up hope. She kept on telling him, that she loved him and would always love him.
Then the day came when Lucky asked Elizabeth to marry him, for real. At first she didn't know what to say, because it was all so sudden, but she eventually said yes. They were so happy about this. Elizabeth couldn't wait to tell everyone she knew about the blessed event. She also couldn't wait to start planning her wedding. The first person she told was her Gram, Audrey Hardy, who worked at General Hospital.
"Hi Gram! I was looking all over for you!" exclaimed Elizabeth.
"What for dear? Is everything alright?" asked Audrey.
"Yes! Everything is great. Lucky asked me to marry him and I said yes!" exclaimed Elizabeth.
"I know you two are in love, but aren't you too young?" asked Audrey.
"Gram? Aren't you happy for me?" asked Elizabeth.
"Well, yes, I guess. But shouldn't you think about this?" asked Audrey.
"I have Gram. And I want to marry him." replied Elizabeth.
"Well, then congratulations, dear!" Audrey exclaimed. Audrey and Elizabeth began to hug, when Elizabeth suddenly felt a sharp pain in her stomach. Elizabeth began to clutch her stomach; she then collapsed to the floor.
"Elizabeth?" Audrey called out to her.
"Elizabeth?!" Audrey shouted. Elizabeth would not wake up. Audrey was scared, but she knew what to do. Just as she was about to look for a doctor, Dr. Tony Jones, appeared.
